When Shruti Samanta Halder, an engineering graduate from Kalyani Government Engineering College in India, joined Global Mentorship Initiative (GMI) as a student, she was looking for clarity and confidence. After starting her career and then taking a brief pause, she reached out for support to re-enter the workforce. With the guidance of her mentor, Riddhi Chauhan, Director of Shared Services – Assurance and Governance at Worley, she found exactly what she was looking for and a role at the same company as her mentor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like many young professionals, Shruti struggled to turn strong academic and early industry experience into a compelling story. The key lies in aligning short- and mid-term goals with long-term aspirations and regularly evaluating progress to stay on course.
